Mrs. Michigan United States 2006!

Tonight was the night that a lifelong dream came true for me as I was crowned Mrs. Michigan United States 2006! At long last, I’ll have the opportunity to represent my state at a national pageant.

The Mrs. Michigan United States Pageant took place in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wearing the banner of Mrs. Wayne County, I was one of the regional delegates from all over Michigan who were judged in the areas of personal interview, evening gown, and physical fitness in swimsuit.

Next, I’ll represent the Great Lakes state at the Mrs. United States pageant to be held July 26-27, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mrs. United States pageant will be broadcast nationally on the PAX cable television network. This year’s telecast will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Mrs. United States pageant.

At Mrs. United States, I’ll be one of 55 contestants from across the United States that will be evaluated on beauty, charm, personality, poise, and the ability to articulate. Contestants participate in a personal interview with the distinguished panel of judges and on stage in evening gown and physical fitness in swimsuit competitions. Each state titleholder is introduced in a costume representing a theme relative to her home state. The winner of the Mrs. United States pageant will receive cash and prizes as well as the opportunity to travel the nation for a year as a role model and spokesperson for married women.
