This is Halloween!

My favorite time of year is upon us again!  When Michigan’s fields and forests become a tapestry of vibrant color and the weather turns crisp and cool.  Halloween is by far and away my favorite holiday and I always look forward to decorating the house for the hordes of trick or treaters that come to our door each year.  This year is no exception and our porch is all decked out and ready for the little ghosts and goblins to arrive.  There’s rain in the forecast; here’s hoping the weather clears up in time for the big event! Most years, we go through 100 bags of candy in the first two hours. It’s always so much fun to entertain the neighborhood kids and I think they enjoy it, too, since I’m known throughout the subdivision as the “Halloween Lady”.
